SHERBERT - a #COOKIEFAM creation.
A lot of people in the Bay Area have heard of Berner’s latest strains, sunset, sherbert, snowman, the Y, etc.. and although we have access to different types of cookies here in NorCal, these new strains have reached a new level of exclusivity but luckily I came across an employee at The Hemp Center in SF who had a small amount of the Sherb and was willing to sell me a quarter…. At a ridiculously inflated price, of course.
The taste had a slight resemblance to sherbet ice cream so I can see where the name comes from but it also had a piney taste to it, which to me usually means Kush genetics. The effects were a heavy onset indicating indica dominant hybrid but didn’t really last too long, not a knock out or anything. I asked the dude who gave me the trees what were the genetics but he simply replied,”can’t tell ya bro-bro” implying that he either doesn’t know or the group behind these strains are trying to horde their genetics. Or both.
I didn’t see anything special about this herb except the taste. I remember before the first time I tried the GSC i figured it was all hype and there was nothing truly special to that strain but upon trying it I was blown the fuck away with how high I was and how great it tasted. The same did not happen with the Sherb. This strain is tastes good for sure but in my opinion the Sherbert is all hype.. and definitely not worth $160 a 1/4.
